Summer Scope and Sequence
Recently streamlined and updated, our children’s ministry curriculum is better than ever! We structure all of our children’s classes to focus on the same scripture/lesson every week. While these are slightly different based on age levels, the common theme and scripture allow families to extend the conversation about classes into their cars on the way home. Children light up when they realize that they are learning the same lessons as their siblings, and this allows parents to easily weave faith into their family conversations. Additionally, each week the FamilyConnect page gives parents an easy discussion starter that helps families grow together in faith throughout the week. Since every age level is exploring the same Bible passage, the weekly FamilyConnect page builds on that common ground. These are posted weekly on our website.
The Scope and Sequence is posted every quarter for our children’s curriculum. This document gives parents an overview of the lessons, memory verses, and main points for each of our programs. A great way to use this resource is to print it out and post it in your home where it can be used to review/reiterate the week’s Bible story and memory verse.
