VBS 2013: 3C KIDS
Mon-Wed, Jun 3-5, 5:30-8p
This year our VBS will focus on the 3C’s for our kids. We will study one “C” each day and show kids how to apply what they learn to their daily lives. Each session will be enhanced with games, crafts, songs, scripture and snacks.
We will be collecting the following NEW items for a donation to Barnyard Blessings for kids of all ages: socks, underwear, pajamas; gift cards for Walmart or Target.
For a donation to Church World Services your children will be packing 100 school kits. Each kit will contain spiral notebooks, rounded tip school scissors, a 24 count box of crayons, and #2 pencils.
Please bring your items to the church PRIOR to VBS if possible, so that we will know what items will need to be purchased in order to complete our projects.
It will be a time of fun learning, especially designed for FCC. Join us in the fellowship hall at 5:30p for a light meal. Activities will take place from 6-8p. To volunteer, sign up on the connection card on Sunday Morning, or contact Kim Clark, Children’s Minister. To register online click here.
We want the children to learn at an early age how to communicate the Gospel through giving to others. By helping Barnyard Blessings and Church World Services, we are showing the importance of serving locally and internationally. We appreciate your service by providing the items needed because this will benefit not only the children receiving the clothes and school supplies, but also the children learning to give to those in need as Jesus taught us. This is a great way for the children to apply what they learn each day at VBS.
