Worship and Study Groups Schedule Changes – Sun, Sep 2 began the new Worship and Study Groups schedule changes. Here’s what it will look like:

You’ll be able to choose the hour of Worship that you want to attend based on the Study Groups you choose.
First Hour Classes:
How to Study Your Bible – A college-level class on how to study the Bible inductively, which emphasizes the most basic tools, principles, and processes for moving from the sound reading of the scripture to application. Audio classes from biblicaltraining.org will be moderated by Mark Liebert and Chuck Bowlin. Join anytime – good for guests (Rm 117).
Daniel Series – Presented by Kristy Ottinger, this Bible Study is based on the Book of Daniel and will include original art that is currently being shown at the Johnson City Arts Council gallery (Rm 210).
“A Living Faith” (Psalms, Acts, 1 Corinthians, Hebrews; Bond Between Us Class) – Uses the Standard Publishing Sunday School Curriculum (also available second hour.) Taught by Ruth Axsom and Jan Green (Rm 211).
Second Hour Classes:
Matthew: An In-depth Bible Study – This class will work through Matthew’s revelation of the life of Jesus. Matthew’s gospel is unique in that it places particular emphasis on Jesus’ fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. You can expect course and weekly outlines, “suggested” homework, content that is intended to teach and stretch you, and healthy conversation as we apply the scripture to our lives. Taught by Mike Schubert (Rm 210).
Restoration Movement History – Come learn the historical roots of our churches movement. This class will be taught by David Scott & Steve Duer (Rm 117).
