Understanding the 3C Process

Tommy Staggs   -

At First Christian Church we believe that accomplishing our God-given mission doesn’t have to be complicated.
So we’ve designed a simple three step process for “Making Disciple Makers” called the 3Cs – Celebrate, Cultivate, and Communicate. This explains both our purpose and our process as a church. Check out this simple visual illustration of the 3Cs below.
A disciple of Christ is someone who worships, grows, and serves… someone who is “Living the 3CLife”:

Celebrate God in worship (Worship Service),
Cultivate Growth in smaller groups (Study Groups and Life Groups), and
Communicate the Gospel in word and deed (Impact Team).

If it isn’t obvious, we are very intentional about this process because it’s easy to lose sight of the goal. Put a bunch of sinful people together and you’re bound to get ‘mission drift’! So we work hard to join with God’s Spirit to intentionally shape YOU into a 3CLife kind of Jesus follower!
But your participation isn’t the only goal! “Living the 3CLife” means becoming a Disciple Maker who connects and equips others so they experience the joy of following Christ! That’s why we say we are “Making Disciple Makers”!
